Speaking at Duke a few weeks ago, I was reminded just how divided the people in that area are over the case...and how important balanced media coverage (often notably absent on both sides in this case) is. I've said this before: we don't know exactly what happened that night -- only a few people do -- but we need to refrain from passing judgment, in either direction, until we learn the facts, not just opinions.I'm not sure why he is telling us that we should "refrain from passing judgement." That is advice better given to his colleague Nancy Grace.
His pathetic attempt at blogging did have one good side effect. It prompted a poster over at Lie Stoppers to ask:
